The Mobile Music Machine has created a new initiative called “Covid Care Concerts”, in partnership with the Blackwater Valley Opera Festival. 

Covid Care Concerts sees a group of four of Ireland’s finest classical musicians perform outdoor, socially distanced concerts in the grounds of residential care home and hospital/community settings.

Wexford County Council in partnership with Wexford Mental Health Services and with the support of South East Community Healthcare Health and Wellbeing have commissioned 20 care concerts to be performed throughout county Wexford in mental health residencies and community nursing units.

The project aims to provide emotional and psychological respite to residents, patients and staff in some of the most vulnerable communities across Ireland that have been deeply impacted by Covid-19.
