This launch will also include music by Inner Harmony. Curated by invited artist Cathering Marshall, the title of this exhibition ‘Rainbows and Bandaged Skies’ was prompted by Andrew Murphy’s concept of the bandaged sky and the rainbow, referenced in the writing of another participant in the exhibition, the writer/artist John D Yeates. Together they symbolise healing and agreement through beauty, through Art. “We sing, write or paint to Say” ¹as Jane Clarke pointed out “My Life matters and your life matters too”.¹ The work here by some 44 visual artists, 22 writers and participants of the music exploration programme celebrating the life, history, landscape and seashore of the county and its openness to the world and beyond it.
