Securing Funding for your Project Workshop

This workshop with Eamonn Maxwell will look at the options available to artists as they seek funding for their work. Venue Wexford County Council.

From grant applications to crowd funding and individual fundraising this session will help artists understand the many options for funding, keys to success, as well as identifying the common pitfalls. This session is aimed at artists who are undertaking a major exhibition, publication, commission etc. so would not be suitable for artist seeking funding for living expenses. Morning session will involve presentations by Eamonn Maxwell and the afternoon will be group discussion based. Each artist will present briefly on their practice and what they would like feedback on (max 10 minutes) and will receive feedback from Eamonn Maxwell.

Time:  10.30 am – 4.00 pm (lunch 1-2pm)
Venue: Wexford County Council 
Price:  €20 (includes lunch and refreshments) 
Max 10 participants

Note - Must be a professional artist to apply. 

Places limited so early online booking recommended.
Application form on or before Friday 24th November 4.00pm.  
Successful artists will be notified accordingly.

Successful applicants will receive an email confirming a place on this workshop.  Following on from this confirmation the total fee €20 must be paid.

  • Payment in full is required to secure your place. Strictly NO REFUNDS can be facilitated.
  • Cheques/Drafts to be made payable to Wexford County Council, Arts Department.
  • Deadline for payment is on or before Friday 1st December 2017 at 12 noon.
