Eamonn Carter Art Exhibition on World War II in Poland from 5th -30th November. Launch 7th November.

The paintings in this exhibition are based on photographs taken by Eamonn Carter on a visit to Auschwitz near Krakow, Poland, in the spring of this year. 

The subjects of those photographs, who appear to be in a catatonic state, were the survivors of concentration camps who had tenaciously and very fortunately hung onto life. It is many years since the dark knowledge of such places emerged.
