WexSci, Wexford’s first Science Festival, runs from 11th to 18th November with events taking place all around the County. Part-funded by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) the Festival is led by Wexford County Council in partnership with IT Carlow, WIT, Waterford Wexford ETB, EPA and BIM.
The aim of WexSci is to promote science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) through a week-long innovative festival, with a huge range of events in libraries, community and family resource centres, and in local schools and colleges. We promise fun and engaging events with something to interest people of all ages and knowledge.
The highlight of the festival is the WexSci Science Showcase, taking place at Wexford County Council on Saturday 17th November from 10:45am to 4pm. There will be something for everybody on the day and great STEM learning opportunities for all ages and abilities. Why not bring your family and friends for a free day out? We'll also be joined by Beat 102-103 for a WexSci Street Party!
