The new Wexford Borough District Office of Wexford County Council opened to the public at The Bullring today (Monday 29 April 2019) in the former Permanent TSB Bank building.

Wexford County Council retains all 9 Blue Flags
The consistently high quality of Wexford public beaches and marinas was recognised again today when the 2019 Blue Flag and Green Coast Awards were announced, with County Wexford receiving a total of 9 Blue Flags and 8 Green Coast awards.
Wexford County Council is operating a Freephone Service for the Local Elections 2019 in order to facilitiate visually impaired people to vote in secret.
The Freephone Number is 1800 804536.
The message on the freephone sets out the local election candidates in the order in which they appear on the ballot paper for elections being held on 24 May 2019.
Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran T.D., Minister of State with special responsibility for the Office of Public Works and Flood Relief launched the Public Exhibition for the River Slaney (Enniscorthy) Drainage Scheme, at Enniscorthy Library, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.
The 2019 Town and Village Renewal Scheme is now launched.
The Scheme is targeted at rural towns and villages with populations of less than 10,000.
Applications can range from €20,000 to a maximum of €100,000. Funding of up to €200,000 will also be considered for a limited number of projects.
