Wexford County Council has undertaken to prioritise infrastructure investment at the Port of New Ross in order to enhance operations and safety for visiting ships to the port. The improvements, which will take place over the month of June and into early July, will see the upgrading of buoyage as well as improvements to harbour security and general maintenance works.

Beach carparks to remain closed as 5km exercise radius continues

Following Friday's Government approval to commence Phase1 of the Covid Roadmap to Recovery, Wexford County Council prepares to open beaches and other public outdoors spaces from Monday next 18 May. However, as access to these amenities is restricted to persons living within a 5km radius, beach public carparks will remain closed until further notice.
