Wexford County Council has undertaken to prioritise infrastructure investment at the Port of New Ross in order to enhance operations and safety for visiting ships to the port. The improvements, which will take place over the month of June and into early July, will see the upgrading of buoyage as well as improvements to harbour security and general maintenance works.  

In 2020, this grant programme is providing grants to groups that are directly involved in the Community Call response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Age Action has launched a COVID-19 Hardship Fund in conjunction with the Irish Red Cross to respond to the immediate needs of older people in vulnerable situations across Ireland experiencing additional hardship as a result of the COVID-19 health crisis.    

If you have had a change in employment status due to the Covid 19 Crisis, Wexford Co Council require the following: A completed Change in Circumstances form accompanied by all necessary documentation. This form can be downloaded from our website or issued by post from our office.
