HEAD OF ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT (Fixed Term 3 Year Contract)
Tradebridge aims to develop new export, FDI and job creation opportunities for companies and SME’s who operate in the South East of Ireland and the 16 Counties of the State of Georgia, America. The project is funded by Enterprise Ireland, and at regional level by the Local Authorities /Local Enterprise Offices of Wexford, Kilkenny, Waterford, Tipperary and Carlow. The project expanded its scale and economic ambition following the successful initial pilot implemented as a collaboration of Wexford County Council and Wexford Enterprise Association with Savannah Economic Development Association and the World Trade Centre Savannah.
Tradebridge is now seeking a Head of Enterprise Development who will report to the Board and bring strategic vision and innovation to the initiative. The person will lead the Tradebridge Collaboration DAC to achieve its ambitious objectives as a leader and champion in developing tangible economic trade opportunities leading to commercial income generation and fostering entrepreneurship. The Head will work to advance enterprise, innovation and supports within the South East region economy and support export opportunities post Brexit. A key role will be to work in collaboration with local government, public agencies, industry, education and training stakeholders and social partners. The Tradebridge position will be based initially at Wexford Enterprise Centre on behalf of the regional partners.
