The Cathaoirleach of Enniscorthy Municipal District, Cllr John O’Rourke hosted a civic reception for a delegation from Blacktown City, a suburb of Sydney Australia, in Enniscorthy Castle on Friday evening, 25th August 2023.
Wexford County Council received funding from the Local Biodiversity Action Fund 2023 for survey of selected wetlands of ecological interest in North County Wexford. This project follows on from a Phase 1 county-wide desk-based survey undertaken by Wetland Surveys Ireland in 2023.
Wexford County Council is working with consultants Urban Scale Interventions to create a heritage-led regeneration plan for Enniscorthy and we need your input!

Thursday, 3 August 2023 – Uisce Éireann, working in partnership with Wexford County Council, has announced that works to provide an essential upgrade to the sewer network in Enniscorthy will commence next week.
