Wexford County Council’s Planning Department work has been classed as an essential service and will continue to operate during the current Covid-19 restrictions. The planning counter at County Hall will remain open for the inspection of current applications and viewing the Draft County Development Plan. However to ensure social distancing is maintained it is recommended that you book ahead by calling 053 9196101 or emailing planning@wexfordcoco.ie. Attending the planning department in person is permitted for travel more than 5 km under the new Covid Regulations, HEALTH ACT 1947 (SECTION 31A - TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) (COVID-19) (NO. 8) REGULATIONS 2020. However it may be helpful if you have a booking email from us to show if you are stopped on the way in.

The building control system will also continue with site inspections and the online Building Control Management System (BCMS) will operate as normal.
