Capital projects

enniscorthy sewerage scheme – stage 3
Upgrade in capacity of the Enniscorthy WWTP from 16,000 PE to 26,000 PE was tendered in
2016 and work is due to start in 2017.

enniscorthy and sow regional Water sewerage scheme
Design of new intake and pumping station at Clonhaston with new rising main to Vinegar Hill
WTP was approved.

fethard-on-sea sewerage scheme

Design of scheme with new WWTP and Pumping Station in progress during 2016.

Gorey regional Water supply – south Wellfield

The Gorey RWSS is to be upgraded and a new 8 Ml/day WTP and 7,500m3 reservoir built at
Ballyminaun. The scheme is at design stage.

Watermain rehabilitation

The Wexford County Council direct labour crew replaced watermains at Kilhile,
Adamstown, Stable to Cahore and Summerhill to Blackstoops.

Wexford Town Watermain rehab and Gas network

Design of scheme to replace watermains in Wexford town in conjunction with provision of new
gas network.

rationalistation of Water supply schemes

Clohamon village was linked to Bunclody Water Supply Scheme. Hillview Court and Mayview
Park in Oulart Village were connected to the Sow Regional Water Supply Scheme.

Water Treatment plant upgrades

Design of water treatment plant upgrades at Kilmallock and Taylorstown.
Bunclody Water Treatment plant was upgraded to provide automatic
coagulant dosing and UV treatment.

Upgrades were provided at a number of treatment plants for PH correction.
