a wetland in co. Wexford, insects

Wexford County Council received funding from the Local Biodiversity Action Fund 2023 for survey of selected wetlands of ecological interest in North County Wexford. This project follows on from a Phase 1 county-wide desk-based survey undertaken by Wetland Surveys Ireland in 2023. The results of this survey can be accessed here.

The current survey is being undertaken to undertake more in-depth evaluation of wetlands of interest in north Co. Wexford to provide baseline biodiversity data for the county.
Wetland Surveys Ireland are undertaking this project for Wexford County Council and they will be contacting landowners over the coming weeks so that the surveys can be facilitated.
