Deadline for applications: 14th November 2025 at 5pm

About the Artist In the Community Programme

Artist In the Community Programme enables meaningful collaboration between artists and County Wexford based communities, for arts projects of 1 intensive week up to 6 months in duration.

This programme is open to communities of place or interest throughout wexford county as well as community groups affiliated to the Wexford Public Participation Network (PPN) of which there are currently over 300 members, which represent diverse communities countywide.

The community groups must be interested in working on an art project and have identified and consulted with an artist(s) from the panel that they would like to work with. The community group can approach the artist or the artist can approach the community group to make the application.

About the Artists Panel

Artists that are selected will be on our artists panel from January 2026 to December 2027 (two years in total). This opportunity is open to artists who are resident in County Wexford and artists must have experience in participatory/collaborative/socially engaged arts practice.  Artists should be resourceful, assertive, have excellent communication in project management skills and the ability to problem solve on their own initiative.
