Co. Wexford Culture Night 2026 – Open Call for Funding
Closing Date Monday June 8th @ 4pm
Culture Night/ Oíche Chultúir 2026 will take place on Friday 18th September, all around the country from 4pm until late!
Culture Night is an annual all-island public event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts. A broad range of events and workshops are programmed at participating locations and thanks to the continued support of the Arts Council and local Authorities across the island of Ireland, all activities are made available to the public free of charge.
The County Wexford Arts Department is inviting the wider community to get involved with their own Culture Night projects or events this September. If you are a creative practitioner/artist, not-for-profit organisation, local community group, an arts, heritage and cultural group, venue, and/or a society based in County Wexford, we would like to hear your proposal. Culture Night is particularly suited to venues seeking to encourage new audiences.
Events will be programmed throughout the districts of Enniscorthy, Gorey/Kilmuckridge, New Ross, Rosslare and Wexford. Geographical spread, mix of artforms, and audience / participant demographic across Co. Wexford will be considered when proposals are assessed.
