Wexford County Council invites the public to take part in the consultation for the Wexford County Heritage Strategy 2026–2031.
This new Strategy sets out our vision for protecting, celebrating, and enhancing the unique heritage of County Wexford over the next five years — and we want your voice to shape it.
The Draft Heritage Strategy will be available to view from the 25th of August to the 25th of September 2026 at:
- Enniscorthy, New Ross, Gorey and Wexford libraries.
- Online via Wexford County Council’s public consultation portal

We welcome submissions from individuals, community groups, heritage organisations, and anyone with an interest in Wexford’s heritage.

All submissions and observations received during the public consultation period will be published on the Council’s Consultation Portal, subject to redaction under General Data Protection Regulation Guidelines (GDPR) and will be taken into consideration before the making of the Wexford County Heritage Strategy 2026–2031. A report will be prepared on the submissions received and will include the names of those who made submissions. This will form part of the Report to be presented to the full Council.

Wexford County Council reserves the right to redact any submission, in whole or in part, as necessary. All personal data (with the exemption of your name) provided will be processed in accordance with data protection legislation.
