County Wexford Youth Theatre
Barecheek Theatre Company facilitates the youth theatre strand via the County Wexford Youth Theatre since September 2003. To date CWYT has had over 1,500 members. Currently there are 50 members aged between 11 years and 23 years, divided into three groups. The groups meet each Tuesday and Friday for 1.5 hours per group during school term time and stage at least four productions each year. CWYT is a member of Youth Theatre Ireland.

County Wexford Youth Film Project
Facilitated by filmmaker Therese Dalton and based in St. Michael’s Theatre, the County Wexford Youth Film Project offers young people (ages 13-20) hands-on training in filmmaking.
Participants engage in all aspects of the filmmaking process, from scriptwriting to postproduction, with films reflecting the issues and themes relevant to their lives. Over 400 young people have been involved since the project’s inception in 2005.

Arts in Education: The Living Arts Project
In the 2013 the Living Arts Project was established as an artist-in-residency scheme in primary schools, supporting the existing partnership between the Wexford Arts Office and Wexford Arts Centre. The aim of the project is to provide children with an understanding and appreciation of contemporary visual art.
