Apply to host an event in a public space

Complete the Preliminary Online Application Form

If  the event is to be held on

  • Wexford County Council premises.
  • Outdoor spaces or marine locations.
  • Event involving a road closure. 
  • Event causing anticipated significant traffic disruption.

the preliminary online application  must be completed.

There are minimum notice periods for running such events. An Event Management Plan, including risk assessments must be produced prior to the event.

Wexford County Council Events Management Officer and the Health and Safety Team will offer organisers advice and support throughout the planning process. Private events on private premises are not required to adhere to Wexford County Council Event Planning Guidance, but are advised to refer to it as a guide to best practice.
