Beach Summary

Awards: Green Coast, Identified Bathing Water

Carpark: Parking all the way back to Ballymoney village, no disabled spaces, unlikely to be any spaces available near beach on fine days.

Access to beach: Access can be difficult for wheelchair users, intermittent improvement in path by local authority during the summer. See photos below.

Sand Type: Medium hardness.

Toilet Facilities: Male and Female Toilets available, no specific accessible toilets. Open long weekends Easter & May.  Full time June, July & August. 24 hours 7 days/week. 
Shower facilities not present.

Viewing Area: No designated area.

Lifeguards: On duty during summer months.
