Recent months have seen a significant increase in roadside signage on the approach roads to Gorey Town. This signage can be unsightly and has caused obstructions to sight lines creating safety concerns.
To address these issues the following measures will be taken:
- A community signage board has been installed on the R741, just opposite the Amber Springs Hotel
- A further 3 mapped and marked areas have been designated community signage areas
- All community signage must be placed at these locations
- All unauthorised commercial signage will be removed from all locations
- Community signage found at all other locations within the town will be removed
