Creative Ireland Wexford in partnership with Wexford County Council Arts Office, Wexford Mental Health and the Irish Architecture Foundation are working together on a creative outdoor green space on the grounds of St. John’s hospital in Enniscorthy which is also home to several other health services including Disability Services, Older Persons Service and Primary Care Services in addition to Enniscorthy Men’s Shed.
A range of creative practitioners (artists and craft makers) will work with Enniscorthy Men’s Shed and the above partners on how they would like to use the green space for fun, creativity and general well-being – that is appropriate to their needs.
The legacy of this project is a permanent creative space that is both relaxing and engaging for staff, service users and the general public.
