This iconic building was constructed in 1775. It forms an integral part of the fabric of Wexford Town and is located along Wexford’s Cultural Spine. It has been home to Wexford Arts Centre since 1974.
Due to the ever increasing requirement for the provision of arts, heritage, cultural & performance space, Wexford County Council in partnership with Wexford Arts Centre secured funding of €1.0m from the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs for an extension & renovation of the building.
Wexford County Council has committed to providing matching funding and to project manage the delivery of an enhanced arts space and facility for Wexford.
