The purpose of the scheme:
Wexford County Council may pay Planting Grants up to a maximum of €300 to voluntary groups for planting projects in public areas. The grant is to help cover the cost of trees, shrubs, top soil and landscaping materials required for the project. Changes to the scheme this year are as follows; any planting undertaken must be sustainable planting and must include pollinator friendly planting where possible. Payment of grants:
If your application is successful and awarded a Planting Grant, please note that the grant payment will ONLY be made out in the name of Organisation specified on the Planting Grant Application form. Please ensure that this name is the same as the name on the Organisation’s bank account.
Please return completed Application forms before 5pm on Friday 26th June, 2020.
Please be advised that any grant that remains unclaimed before 25th September, 2020 will be cancelled and funds reassigned to another project.
