Wexford Women's Coalition seek expressions of interest from secondary schools around the county in having the See Her Elected School Roadshow visit their school in the academic year 2023/2024. Members of the Women's Coalition look forward to sharing their experiences of the work and life of an elected member and to encourage students, particularly young women to consider a career in politics and public service.

Wexford County Council’s Women’s Coalition have visited three secondary schools around the county to date in conjunction with See Her Elected (SHE). We are now taking expressions of interest for the Autumn school term 2023.
These school roadshows are open to Transition Year, 5th Year and 6th Year students in all schools and particularly schools which have politics and society as a subject.

The Roadshow consists of a presentation by SHE representatives which will include a video and slide show followed a talk about life and a career in politics by one of Wexford County Council’s Women’s Coalition Members. There will be an opportunity for students to ask questions and interact with the presenters.

For more information on See Her Elected visit their website at www.seeherelected.ie.
