Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford has a long history of flooding. Extreme floods have occurred in 1924, 1947, 1965, 2000, 2002, 2009, 2011, 2014 and more recently in December 2015. Flooding represents a risk to health and safety and has resulted in significant property damage and traffic disruption in the town.
County Wexford Chambers, in collaboration with the Regional Skills Forum and Wexford Local Community Development Committee (LCDC), are hosting the County Wexford Skills & Training Expo on Wednesday 13th June 2018 from 9:00am-1:00pm in the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy.
Wexford County Council have been made aware of fraudulent emails purporting to come from a Wexford County Council email address seeking personal information in connection with a Revenue tax refund or seeking credit/debit card details.
This email did not originate in Wexford County Council and should be deleted.

On Friday, 25th May, 2018 Wexford’s first ever Africa Day will be celebrated at The Presentation Centre, Enniscorthy, from 12.00 to 2.30 p.m.
The Nine Stones Cycling Loop Trail is a County Wexford-based Cycling Trail within the Wexford Trails family together with Wexford Walking Trails, Wexford Garden Trail, Wexford Craft Trail & Wexford Heritage Trail.
While the Nine Stones Cycle Loop Trail traverses County Wexford for the most part, it also enters parts of neighbouring counties Carlow and Wicklow.
Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Damien English, T.D. visited the village of Oylegate County Wexford on Friday last, 11 May 2018 to officially open two specially designed family homes funded by the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government. Two families can now look forward to a fresh start in these new homes which will cater for their specific family needs.
