The Annual Rate on Valuation for the ordinary expenditure of Wexford County Council for the services of the financial year from 1st January, 2018 to 31st December, 2018 is Seventy Three Euro and Sixty Seven Cent (€73.67).

Wexford County Council has welcomed the recently announced Rebuilding Ireland Home Loan Scheme, describing the first-time buyers scheme as offering a “realistic and affordable opportunity” of home ownership to hundreds of low and middle-income earners in County Wexford.

Wexford County Council has been awarded judgment in the High Court against Seafield Hotel Limited for more than €84,000. The judgment follows a long-running action by Wexford County Council against Seafield Hotel Limited in respect of its failure to pay commercial rates.
Wexford County Council was also awarded the costs of its action.
Cathaoirleach of New Ross Municipal District Councillor Willie Fitzharris opened a Book of Condolence at the Tholsel, New Ross, this afternoon as a gesture of sympathy to the families of those killed following a tragic road accident at Cushinstown, County Wexford on Monday evening last, 4th December.

Wexford’s best young entrepreneurs were announced on Friday last 24 Nov at the County Final of Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur (IBYE) competition. Run by the Local Enterprise Offices, IBYE is supported by the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation and Enterprise Ireland. Now in its 4th year, this year’s competition attracted almost 1,500 applications nationwide.
