€8 million funding announced for Ferrybank-New Ross 24 km Greenway

The consistently high quality of Wexford public beaches and marinas was recognised again today when the 2019 Blue Flag and Green Coast Awards were announced, with County Wexford receiving a total of 9 Blue Flags and 8 Green Coast awards.

Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran T.D., Minister of State with special responsibility for the Office of Public Works and Flood Relief launched the Public Exhibition for the River Slaney (Enniscorthy) Drainage Scheme, at Enniscorthy Library, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.
The 2019 Town and Village Renewal Scheme is now launched.
The Scheme is targeted at rural towns and villages with populations of less than 10,000.
Applications can range from €20,000 to a maximum of €100,000. Funding of up to €200,000 will also be considered for a limited number of projects.
Your community group is invited to attend a regional event which will provide information on how to submit good applications for grant funding.
The events in each area are run by the Department of Rural & Community Development, Pobal, the Local Authority, the Irish Local Development Network, and the Local Development Company/Companies.
The Valuation Office will be holding 'Walk In' Clinics in County Hall on Monday 15th April and in Gorey Civic Offices on Tuesday 16th April.
Valuation Office staff will be present in each location to answer queries relating to the recently issued Proposed Valuation Certficates. They will explain the revaluation process and offer guidance on making representations.
