Wexford Public Library Service offers free online programmes to help with literacy, numeracy and writing skills.
These are web-based programmes, available directly on your PC or laptop, or they can be downloaded by app to your phone or tablet.
Subject to availability, programmes are also available through your child's school.
Please contact your local branch library, contact details can be found here, or ask your child's teacher to contact us if you would like your child to avail of one of these licences.
TTRS:
Touch Type, Read and Spell is a multisensory, structured, online course for children and adults to learn reading, typing and spelling. There are 24 levels with 31 modules in each level. For age 7+

Nessy Reading and Spelling:
Nessy is designed to reinforce spelling, reading and listening skills in a multisensory way. There are 100 structured lessons packed with videos, motivating games and 1000’s of supporting printable worksheets and card games. For age 6+

Reading Eggs:
This is an online reading programme with three levels: Starting Out, Beginning to Read and Building Confidence. There are 40 lessons in each level. Games, songs, Golden Eggs and other rewards motivate children to keep exploring and learning. For age 2+

Mathseeds:
Mathseeds is an award winning online maths programme. Children can enjoy fun, interactive, and rewarding lessons that teach foundational maths and problem-solving skills while nurturing an early love of maths.
Structured lessons will keep children engaged and eager to learn and improve their skills. For age 3-9

Mathletics:
Mathletics provides support and challenges to make sure each student achieves their best. In less than an hour per week, children quickly become motivated, confident, and successful learners with improved test results. For age 5–16
