New Ross Municipal District is delighted to support the New Ross Piano Festival as it celebrates its 20th anniversary with an outstanding programme of internationally renowned artists and emerging talent. Over the past two decades, the festival has become one of the region's leading cultural events, bringing world-class music to New Ross and attracting audiences from across Ireland and beyond.
This year's programme features acclaimed French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, rising Irish star Jamie Duffy, whose composition Solas became a global success, Dublin International Piano Competition finalist Dida Condria, internationally celebrated Ukrainian pianist Anna Fedorova, Swiss pianist Fabrizio Chiovetta, and returning guest Judy Carmichael, who first performed at the festival 20 years ago. A highlight of the anniversary celebrations will be the closing concert featuring the RTÉ Concert Orchestra in St Mary's Parish Church. Audiences can look forward to concertos by Beethoven, Grieg and Chopin, conducted by guest pianists Finghin Collins, Jean-Efflam Bavouzet and Anna Fedorova, providing a fitting finale to this landmark year. New Ross Municipal District congratulates the festival organisers on reaching this significant milestone and encourages residents and visitors to enjoy the diverse programme of performances on offer.
The festival includes both free and ticketed events. Full programme details are available on the New Ross Piano Festival website, with bookings through St Michael's Theatre on 051 421255
