Road Closure R731 Rathnure to Tomaine

Road Closure – R731 Rathnure Village to Tomaine From next Monday the 26th of June to Friday the 30th of June Inclusive There will be a Road Closure on the R731 South of Rathnure Village (Tomaine) to facilitate Macadam Works. The Road Closure will be in effect from next Monday the 26th of June until Friday the 30th of June Inclusive. Local Access will be maintained but there will be No Through Road. Diversion Routes will be signposted. These works are weather dependant and as such the completion dates and working hours may be subject to change. For further information regarding these works then please contact the New Ross District Roads Engineer.

Road RaceSaturday 24th and Sunday 25th June 2017 from 11:00 dailyRoute – Loop run multiple times from Redmond Square to Castlebridge to Crossabeg to Kitestown Cross to Ferrycarrig Bridge to Codd’s Hill to Redmond SquareThere will be a Major Road Event taking place on parts of the R730, R741, L3005, L7009, N11, and the L7062 from Redmond Square to Castlebridge to Crossabeg to Kitestown Cross to Ferrycarrig Bridge to Codd’s Hill to Redmond Square. The Irish Senior National Cycling Championship Road Races involving 500 cyclists will be taking place on the route as described above this weekend, Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th of June from 11:00 daily. Event Marshals and An Garda Siochana will be in attendance.Please use caution when driving in the vicinity of this event. Please pass Cyclists with Care.

Major Road Event – Irish Senior National Cycling Championship Time Trial Thursday 22nd June 2017 from 17:00 to 21:00 Route – Johnstown Castle to Kilmore Quay (via Murntown and Baldwinstown) and return. There will be a Major Road Event taking place on parts of the L3041, R738 and the L3056 from Johnstown Castle to Kilmore Quay (via Murntown and Baldwinstown). The Irish Senior National Cycling Championship Time Trial involving 500 cyclists will be taking place this evening, Thursday the 22nd of June from 17:00 to 21:00 on the route as described above. Event Marshals and An Garda Siochana will be in attendance. Please use caution when driving in the vicinity of this event. Major Roadworks - N25 Ballinaboola to Carrickbyrne From today, Monday the 19th of June from 07:00 to 19:00 daily for the next 10 weeks. There will be Major Road Resurfacing works on the N25 between Ballinaboola and Carrickbyrne from today, Monday the 19th of June for the next 10 weeks. The resurfacing works will take place between the hours of 07:00 to 19:00 daily with Stop and Go Traffic management in operation. Delays can be expected at peak times so please leave additional time for your journey. These works are weather dependant and as such the completion dates and working hours may be subject to change. Major Roadworks - N25 Rosslare Harbour to Kilrane From tonight, Monday the 12th of June from 19:00 to 07:00 (Nightworks) for the next 4 weeks. There will be Major Road Resurfacing works on the N25 between Rosslare Harbour and Kilrane Village from this evening, Monday the 12th of June for the next 4 weeks. The main resurfacing works will take place between the hours of 19:00 to 07:00 (Nightworks) but it may be necessary to undertake some minor works during the daytime. Stop and Go Traffic management will be in operation for the duration of the works and delays can be expected. These works are weather dependant and as such the completion dates and working hours may be subject to change. Road Closure at Haughton Place has now been changed to start at 6 p.m  this evening 26.05.17, for approx. 4 hours to facilitate essential road repairs. This was originally organised for 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. Wexford County Council apologise for any inconvenience.
