Eoin Farrell has recently been appointed as our New Ross Sports Hub Co Ordinator and is passionate about promoting physical activity in New Ross.
The overarching goal of the New Ross Sports Hub is to foster collaboration with existing sports clubs and the local schools. We believe in the power of inclusion and our aim to maximise the potential of these clubs and the local schools. By working together, we can create a stronger, more united community that thrives on shared values and common goals. We will offer them every support we can.
Our commitment extends to creating a safe and empowering space for girls in our community. We want them to be able to take ownership of their own active journey by offering opportunities and safe spaces for this to happen. Through our initiatives, we aim to provide opportunities for growth and development, empowering the young girls of New Ross to reach their full potential.
But our vision goes beyond individual pursuits; we want to create family opportunities for everyone to get out and be active in their local environment. By promoting a sustainable, healthy and active lifestyle, we can strengthen the bonds within our community, fostering a sense of togetherness and shared well-being. Re-introducing people to the local facilities and amenities that are available to them in New Ross and encouraging them to use them for their own well-being and that of their families.
Crucially, we understand the importance of collaboration with all local stakeholders. While supporting existing efforts, we are committed to achieving our own goals.
