Quarrying in Wexford

Wexford County Council completed an examination of quarries in the county further to Section 261a of the Planning and Development Act. 

Information on each quarry can be viewed through the ‘Search Planning Applications’ facility of this website ( the relevant s261a reference numbers are Q001 to Q126 ). The files can also be inspected at the Planning Department reception.
