Attention! Businesses/Companies with more than one rate account will only qualify for the RIS Grant once.
NB – Eligibility for Rates Relief under the 2022 RIS grants scheme is now limited to ratepayers with a maximum of €30,000 in annual rates.

To avail of a Rates Incentive Grant of 5% of the annual rates bill, subject to a maximum of €750 ratepayers must:
a) Pay their rates in full (less the incentive value) by 9th April 2022
Or
b) Commence payment by weekly/monthly/quarterly Bank Standing Order / Direct Debit by 9th April 2022 and clear the rates (less the incentive value) by 1st November 2022.
Or
To avail of a Rates Incentive Grant of 5% of the annual rates bill, subject to a maximum of €500 ratepayers must pay their rates in full (less the incentive value) by 31st July 2022
Arrears on your Account?
The scheme is open to customers with arrears on their accounts where they meet the following requirements:
a) Pay a minimum amount which is equivalent to the annual rates by the same timelines outlined above.
And
b) Enter into a structured payment plan to address and eliminate the arrears.
Remember, businesses/companies with more than one rate account will only qualify for the RIS Grant once.
