Licence for Finger Post Signs

This application should be submitted to the Roads Department, Carricklawn, Wexford, including:-                        

  • Business Name:- Indicate Business name to be displayed on sign, in both English and Irish.                        
  • Site map:- Showing precise location of proposed sign.

     

  • Fee:-  €275 per sign year one ( which includes the sign, the erection of the sign, the erection of the pole if required, and the licence fee for first year) €50.00 per sign for subsequent years.     
     

Application Form:- Fully completed and signed

Important Notes for Applicants

•    Signs must not compete with road signs or otherwise endanger traffic safety. 
•    More than one Finger Post sign may be permitted in exceptional circumstances.
•    Sandwich boards and free-standing signs will not be permitted to protect pedestrians and in particular people with disabilities.
•    Please Note:- Commercial and product advertising signs are not permitted.
•    Wexford County Council will remove all unauthorised signs.
