Wexford County Council, including all of our District Offices and the Library Service throughout the County of Wexford, is delighted to be Jam Card friendly.
A Jam Card allows anyone with a communication barrier, learning difficulty, autism or any other condition to discreetly and easily tell others they need just a minute of patience.
Wexford County Council, Wexford Library Service and our staff have been working with the NOW Group who developed the JAM or Just a Minute card to help reduce any stress or anxiety that a costumer might have while using services.
Our staff have completed the induction training as part of becoming JAM Card friendly.
The JAM Card is completely free and helps us in Wexford County Council and our extended services to give you the support you need, providing you with the extra time and understanding as needed.
We are delighted to be JAM Card Friendly and part of promoting inclusively and diversity in the workplace for both all customers with invisible disabilities.
We look forward to welcoming you to our services.
