The Council is preparing for the transition to the new legislation and will provide further information, guidance and updated application as these become available. 

Please note that applicants are advised not to rely on current forms or templates for applications that will be made after the commencement of the new legislation.

Residential Zoned Land Tax (RZLT)

The Residential Zoned Land Tax (RZLT) is a tax aimed at activating serviced and residentially zoned land for housing. Local authorities are responsible for identifying the land that is subject to RZLT.

Short Term Letting Information

Short term letting provisions will apply in the designated Rent Pressure Zone of Gorey.  The area is confirmed as the Gorey Electoral Area.
