I have been asked by Mr. Darragh O’Brien, T.D., Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to refer to the new package of housing support measures as announced by the Government on 25 April 2023, and specifically to the temporary time-limited exemption from development contributions in respect of residential development.
Enniscorthy Municipal District - Shopfront Improvement Grants
Following on from the success of the Enniscorthy Shopfront Painting and Flower Basket Scheme over the last few years, Enniscorthy Municipal District will continue to enhance and improve the image of Enniscorthy by once again launching the scheme for 2023.

Rosslare Municipal District's Strategic Plan survey and interview
The Rosslare Municipal District are developing an ambitious and long-term vision for the area through capturing the needs of the communities and presenting the findings in a strategic plan. Dr Yvonne Byrne Rural Development Consultancy has been appointed to assist the District in the preparation of this plan.
It will be launched this summer and we really hope to get your views so that we can utilise this plan to secure funding and develop projects of scale to increase the quality of life for everyone who lives in the Rosslare Municipal District.
Supports for Households issued with Termination Notice
Wexford County Council is aware that households in our area may have received a notice of termination from their landlord and may be unsure about what to do.
Households who are in receipt of a Notice of Termination and are unsure as to their rights, should contact the Residential Tenancies Board, Threshold or other tenant support services for support and advice in the first instance.

Cycle lane upgrade and Traffic calming scheme
Wexford County Council proposes to undertake construction of Traffic Calming, cycle lane upgrade and improve pedestrian access on R769 Newtown Road.
The proposed scheme consists of carriageway narrowing and junction tightening works at Newtown Rd. between junction with L3503 (Hospital Junction) and Wygram junction.
Tailte Éireann, a new State agency to manage and develop Ireland’s land, property, and location data.
The Property Registration Authority, the Valuation Office, and Ordnance Survey Ireland have merged to become a new organisation called Tailte Éireann.
Tailte Éireann provides a comprehensive and secure property title registration system, a professional State Valuation service, and an authoritative national mapping and surveying infrastructure.
Business will continue as usual while Tailte Éireann is being established. Customers can continue to use existing channels for all registration, valuation, and surveying services.
